We strive to ensure our students are inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who understand and respect the multi-cultured world in which we live. We do this by providing a nurturing environment in which all students have the opportunity to pursue their individual intellectual abilities and discover their unique gifts. We are committed to academic excellence, worship, and service to others; our students achieve a deeper awareness of their responsibility to God, community, the world at large, and themselves.
Our school day is from 9:00 am-3:20 pm. The School office is open from 8:00 am-4:00 pm.
We follow the Mahtomedi School District calendar.
The District provides transport to/from St. Jude of the Lake for all students within the Mahtomedi School District.
We offer fee-based on-site care before (from 7:00 am) and after school – until 5:30 pm.
We partner with CKC to provide fresh, healthy, chef-prepared meals to students.
We offer tuition assistance through the St. Jude of the Lake Angel Fund.
As principal, it is very important to me that everyone who steps through our doors, whether it be a staff member, parent, student or visitor, is excited to be here. The positive attitude and welcoming setting enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, nurturing environment and grow our school community, while furthering our mission of providing a strong Catholic foundation for our students.
St. Jude recognizes the importance of providing a robust array of enrichment opportunities for students in all grades and of all abilities.
We are very proud of our IB status. With its emphasis on developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people, the IB program enhances the great work that is already taking place at St Jude of the Lake.
We integrate our Catholic faith into our every day teachings. Our students begin each day with prayer, attend weekly Mass, complete Sacramental preparation and participate in acts of community service.
“What’s really special about our students at St. Jude is their
shared faith in Jesus Christ.” - Fr Cory Rohlfing, Pastor
