Trout Tidbits in the Classroom

Guess what’s swimming in our classrooms? Not just any fish—over 100 trout eggs will be hatching into fingerlings right under our noses! Our student scientists are on a mission to care for these finned friends as part of the Trout in the Classroom program, and the excitement is off the charts.

Release Day at Browns Creek

Hold onto your hats, folks! Our daring students, will again be equipped with waders and enthusiasm! We recently hit the road to Stillwater’s Browns Creek where the grand release of their fully grown trout will take place next Spring. Talk about a splashy adventure! The air was buzzing with excitement we waded right into the creek to explore and investigate the food and water quality of their future habitat.

Nature Adventures Galore!

But wait, there’s more! Our school has become a hotspot for cool outdoor activities. From bug collecting in Browns Creek to ice fishing on White Bear Lake, and even crafting fishing lures, our students are getting their hands dirty in the name of nature. Who said learning can’t be an adventure?
